【課程活動】「餐旅經營管理」課程參訪凱撒(希爾頓)飯店學習飯店數位轉型

張雅惠教授「餐旅經營管理 Hospitality Operations」課程，學期初邀請凱撒飯店宋餘俠副執行長（資訊長）到校分享凱撒飯店數位轉型的經驗，學期中學生們學習使用最近科技，客製化專屬的AI應用以提供飯店服務創新企劃案，期末再參訪凱撒飯店實際瞭解及體驗智慧科技的真實應用。
「2025 凱撒飯店數位轉型智慧應用體驗」活動，安排學生實地參訪板橋希爾頓飯店，透過專業講者的分享與現場導覽，深入了解飯店數位轉型的實際應用。活動由凱撒飯店宋餘俠副執行長（資訊長）致歡迎詞，並由人力資源部與資訊部主管依序介紹凱撒飯店集團概況、數位轉型的核心策略，以及 AI 與智慧科技在飯店營運中的具體落實方式。講者說明了跨部門溝通、系統整合與實施過程中所面臨的挑戰，並分享未來智慧飯店的發展方向。
隨後進行的飯店導覽與智慧應用體驗，讓學生實際操作餐飲 POS 系統、體驗客房語音助理與服務機器人等科技設備，使抽象的數位轉型概念轉化為具體可感的實務經驗。整體活動氣氛熱絡，學生在導覽與 Q&A 過程中積極提問，與講者互動頻繁，顯示高度學習投入。透過本次參訪，學生不僅加深對飯店智慧化營運的理解，也對未來將 AI 應用於服務創新與管理實務有更清楚的認識，收穫豐富且具啟發性。
At the beginning of the semester, Dr. Elegance Chang’s “Hospitality Operations” course invited Mr. Frank Sung, Deputy CEO (Chief Information Officer) of Caesar Park Hotels & Resorts, to share the group’s experience in digital transformation. Throughout the semester, students applied emerging technologies to develop customized AI applications and propose innovative hotel service solutions. At the end of the semester, students visited the hotel to experience the real-world application of smart technologies.
As part of the “2025 Caesar Hotel Digital Transformation and Smart Application Experience,” students visited the Hilton Taipei Sinban. Through expert presentations and guided tours, they gained practical insights into hotel digital transformation. Mr. Sung delivered the welcoming remarks, followed by presentations from Human Resources and IT managers on the Caesar Hotel Group’s overview, digital transformation strategies, and the implementation of AI and smart technologies in hotel operations. Challenges in cross-departmental collaboration and system integration, as well as future directions for smart hotels, were also discussed.
The hotel tour allowed students to experience technologies such as food and beverage POS systems, in-room voice assistants, and service robots, turning abstract concepts into hands-on learning. Active participation during the tour and Q&A sessions reflected strong student engagement. Overall, the visit enhanced students’ understanding of smart hotel operations and the role of AI in service innovation and hospitality management.
