Course Information

In general, lower level courses are theoretical bases, and the higher level courses emphasize on the hands-on applications. The entire curriculum is designed and developed into three major pillars:

  1. Hospitality and tourism industry base: some of the key courses are hospitality management, aesthetics in hospitality and tourism industry, MICE management, global issues in tourism, etc.
  2. Information technology base: some of the key courses are management of information system, e-commerce, multimedia tools and applications, big data analytics in hospitality and tourism industry, etc.
  3. Smart service base: some of the key courses are introduction to smart service management, design thinking, introduction to artificial intelligence, planning and development of smart hotels, etc.

The courses focus on the hospitality and tourism industry with high frequency of service encounter to strengthen students’ competencies in service and experience design. Various smart technology courses are designed to enhance students’ professional skill set by applying digital information and smart technology.
